CIMC Taicang, consists of TAICANG CIMC CONTAINER Co., Ltd. and TAICANG CIMC SPECIAL LOGISTICS EQUIPMENT Co., Ltd., is one of the important R & D and core production bases deployed by CIMC group in East China, which implements the operation mode of "one management team, two companies" with shared resource and experience.

CIMC Taicang located in the center Yangtze River Delta— Taicang Port Economic and Technological Development Zone with the superior geographical location provides convenient land and water transportation. It covers a total area of 888.95 mu, with a total registered capital of USD 71 million and a total investment of USD 104 million.

As one of the core subsidiaries of CIMC group, CIMC Taicang engaged in R & D, manufacture, sales and service of multi-type products includes ISO containers, special containers, logistics transportation equipment, containerized & integrated equipment and etc. with an annual capacity of 450,000TEU ISO standard containers and 100,000 units special containers which covers12 series and over 100 product types, widely used in intermodal transportation, mining, construction industry, energy, medical treatment, environmental protection, aerospace and etc..

CIMC Taicang has strong large scale and efficient production of ISO standard containers and R & D manufacturing capacity of special containers in China and has been recognized as “High-tech enterprise” and “Provincial enterprise technology center” and etc..

Development history

2004

12^th, May, 2004, Foundation of TAICANG CIMC CONTAINER Co., Ltd.

2005

3^rd, June, 2005, the first ISO standard container was offline in Line A.

2008

In 2008, Line B of CIMC Taicang was completed and put into production. CIMC Taicang became the important ISO container production base in East China with the greatly increased production capacity.

2009

In 2009, CIMC Taicang was the first batch of members to join the CIMC “ONE” lean organization and initially established a “ONE” lean management system.

2013

In 2013, CIMC Taicang started the construction of "oasis factory" and was committed to building a world-class benchmark enterprise which could realize automatic production with more environment friendly, safety, higher technology content and information level.

2014

In November 2014, Line A’s modification of CIMC Taicang was started.

2015

On 28^th, July, 2015, the first special container was successfully offline from Line A.

2016

5^th, February, 2016, Foundation of TAICANG CIMC SPECIAL LOGISTICS EQUIPMENT Co.. Ltd. with opened a new development path of multi-type products.

2017

In April 2017, CIMC Taicang took the lead in mass-production containers with waterborne coating in East China.

2018

In November 2018, the ERP upgrade pilot project of CIMC Taicang was successfully launched.

2019

In January 2019, CIMC Taicang started the CIMC group’s intelligent manufacture model project of container base structure.

2020

In 2020, the intelligent manufacture model project of containers base structure of CIMC Taicang was first verified adopted by CIMC group experts. “Scientific and technological innovation” promotes the high-quality development of CIMC Taicang.

2021

In March 2021, Line C (of “Twin Star Project— Subproject of Longteng Project”) was officially started construction and put into production on 22nd, December, 2021, forming a large-scale production layout combined with lines A, B and C in CIMC Taicang.

In April 2021, CIMC Taicang was fully introduced the Excellent Performance Evaluation System.

TAICANG CIMC CONTAINER Co., Ltd. won the “Suzhou Quality Award”, which improved the comprehensive competitiveness of CIMC Taicang.
